Well, You knew I'd Be Back....

AND I didn't come empty handed:

I’ve entered a new season: one filled with growth, creativity, and possibility. For a long time, I was caught in cycles of figuring it out, making mistakes, starting over, and trying again. It wasn’t always intentional, but it was necessary. Somewhere along the way, I stopped being afraid of my own shadow. I took the plunge. And here I am, finding myself right in the middle of dreams coming true.

The truth is, I’m extremely happy and proud of where I am today. So here’s the big news: I’ve started baking for a restaurant and boutique hotel here in Nassau, Bahamas. Bella Signature Suites is a Bahamian family-owned and operated establishment, and I feel so honored to be part of their story. It’s not just about desserts, it’s about carrying forward tradition, hospitality, and flavor. Be sure to come out and try their signature dessert, The Cheat Meal , a deep-fried Oreo cheesecake served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Trust me, it’s the kind of treat that reminds you why life is meant to be savored.

I guess you can say I’m the Pastry Chef now. 👩🏽‍🍳 And that feels incredible to write. I’m learning so much, growing every day, and most importantly, I love what I do. The kitchen has always been my place of comfort and creativity, but now it’s also a place of purpose.

I have other projects in the works that I’ll keep close for now, but just know, this is only the beginning. My focus is simple: show up, give my best, and keep pushing forward.

Baking has always been a mirror of life for me. You measure, mix, and sometimes make a mess. You learn patience while waiting for things to rise, and resilience when they fall flat. And if you stay consistent, the results are worth it. This new season is just that — a reminder that the sweetest things come with time, effort, and faith.
